Updating your Mazda Navigation SD Card using Mazda Update Tool Box
If you want to update your car’s memory card manually, follow the guide below:
Step 1. Eject your Mazda Connect SD Card from your car.
Step 2. Go to your computer and insert the Mazda Connect SD Card.
Step 3. Go to this Mazda’s Official Update website and select your region.
Step 4. Click on Continue.
Step 5. Click on the Download button on the upper right of the page.
Step 6. Install the Mazda Update Toolbox.
Step 7. After installing the Update Toolbox, open the application.
Step 8. Once your SD Card is inserted, the Mazda Update Toolbox will prompt you to log in to your account.
Step 9. After logging in, it will automatically download the updates.
Step 10. If the download is already finished, it will prompt you to install the update on your Mazda Connect SD Card.
Step 11. Click on Install and wait for the process to complete.
Step 12. Reinsert the Mazda navigation SD Card to your car and see if the update worked.
How to Create a Mazda Update Toolbox Account
Before updating your Mazda connect SD card you would need an account to access the Mazda Update toolbox. If you want to register a new account to use in the Mazda Toolbox, follow the steps below.
Step 1. Open Mazda Update Toolbox.
Step 2. Insert the Mazda Connect SD card and click on Create an Account.
Step 3. Enter the information asked on the signup form. Make sure to use an active email address as you would need this in verifying your Mazda account.
Step 4. Read the terms and agreement section and click I agree.
Step 5. Click on Register
Step 6. Open your email and follow the instructions sent by Mazda to verify your account.
Step 7. After verifying your account, you can now log in to Mazda Update Toolbox to Start updating your Mazda Connect SD Card.
